Engineered Light Pole Foundations

ECP Utility manufactures helical light pole foundation systems designed for at-grade and above-grade light pole installations. Installed using hydraulic rotary equipment, ECP light pole anchors provide a fast, reliable alternative to traditional concrete foundations while supporting both compressive and tensile loads.

Engineered for Utility and Site Lighting Applications

Light pole foundations require predictable performance, efficient installation, and minimal site disruption. ECP Utility helical light pole foundations are designed to transfer loads to competent soils below the active zone, providing verifiable torque-to-capacity correlation and consistent foundation performance.
Manufactured in the USA by Earth Contact Products in Olathe, Kansas, these systems eliminate the need for excavation, concrete placement, curing time, or spoils removal — helping crews keep projects on schedule regardless of weather conditions.

ECP Helical Light Pole Foundations

ECP helical light pole foundations utilize steel shafts with helix plates that advance into the soil with minimal disturbance, allowing foundations to be installed quickly and accurately. Pre-cut cableways in the shaft provide wiring access through the side and up through the base plate, simplifying electrical installation.
Multiple shaft sizes, helix diameters, and extension lengths allow engineers to match foundation capacity to load requirements and soil conditions.

Key Benefits

  • No excavation or concrete required
  • Immediate load-bearing after installation
  • Installable in all weather conditions
  • Minimal site disturbance
  • Hot-dip galvanized for corrosion protection

Applications

  • Street lighting
  • Parking lot lighting
  • Decorative light poles
  • Highway signage
